Jardine Juniper

Yesterday I hit the Old Jardine Juniper Trail it was a lot of up hill with rocks but worth it at the top. The views were great. Here are some pics of the ride.

Mud Flats

Today I went on a great ride up Logan Canyon. Mud Flats is the name of the trail. This time of year it dirt flats. It was a lot of fun, love this trail.

New Straps

I went into the bushes about year ago and lost the other side of my sternum strap. I have looked every where for a replacement and can't find one. Right now I use a zip tie to hold my shoulder straps together. If anyone can find me one or has a camelbak that one can be remove from that would be great. Thanks 

Stump Hollow

Saturday I drove up to Beaver Mountain Ski Resort and road Stump Hollow.

This is a great ride, the trail takes you from Beaver up the bottom of the canyon then up on top of the mountain through the pines to Peter Sinks. 

It was so beautiful in the canyon.

At the top of the mountain it opens up to some great views of the Beaver area.

After the peak at the over look the trail takes you back into the pines.

I ran into small patches of snow. You can see the trail Mt bikers have cut through it.

The ground is still wet in some place. Here four pine trees fell onto the trail making everyone find a way around them.

The trail open up to this beautiful medow by Horse Lake.

Then back into the pines.

The end of the trail Peters Sinks. This place is where the second coldest temperature ever measured in the US (-69F)!

Next time need some more people to go with me.

Bonneville Shore Line Trail Ogden

Last Friday Candice and I rode the BST Ogden.

We love this trail and miss it a lot. We use to live right by the Jump Off Canyon trail head. We rode this trail three to four times a week. Now we try to ride it every time we are down from Logan. 

Green Canyon Fun

Candice and I one our ride up Green Canyon. It was a perfect day for a great ride.

White Canyon

Today was so beautiful that I cut class and went on a ride up green canyon. It was perfect riding conditions. Green canyon is not yet green but that first two sections of single track is dry. Eventually I did run into snow.

Great ride can't wait for it to green up.

Nice Jersey

I found this riding jersey at Al's Sporting Goods. I thought it was great. I would love to get one but they are 89 bucks. A little to much for me to get with out asking Can and she won't let me get it, well not yet anyway.

Green Canyon

This morning I went on a ride up Green Canyon. It was a beautiful morning the sun was out and the snow was deep. This week the riding was not good at all. It snowed on Thursday and the snow was not packed down enough to ride on. I peddled twice as much and got half the distance. Hopefully the snow will get packed down enough this week to ride on next weekend.

This was the single track.

I saw Rocky Mountain Sheep up on the mountain.

Green Canyon Fun

Today Carlie came up to Logan to baby set Emmett for me so I could ride my bike up Green Canyon (White Canyon right now). It was very icy in the parking lot but the trail was great. There was also lot of people cross country skiing that I had to ride around but it was a lot of fun. I would love to do that every day. Thanks Car

I tried to do a cool shadow pic at the end of the ride this is what I got. It was a great ride. I would love to do it again. It would be fun to ride with others so come on out.

Maybe this will be my next bike.Stumpjumper FSR Expert 29, I don't know. This bike looked great in Bingham's on Thursday. I just need so money.
